In 1972, MTD Micro Molding was founded by Richard Tully. Originally named Miniature Tool & Die, Inc., MTD quickly established itself as a leading manufacturer of miniature connector injection molding for the electronics industry.

In 2008, Richard's son, Dennis, assumed leadership of the company. Today, MTD Micro Molding continues to grow and designs and manufactures microscopic components for the medical and electronics industry in its precision clean room facilities in Massachusetts. MTD Micro Molding's precisely manufactured micro products are used in many medical devices, electronics, Microfluidics devices and more.

In 1998, under Tully's leadership, MTD Micro Molding invested extensive time and resources into the research and development of micro molds for the medical industry. Today, our experienced staff and precision equipment design and manufacture some of the tiniest electronic and medical device components in the world.

MTD Micro Molding is one of only a few U.S. companies dedicated to mold making and micro molding. Our precision equipment and clean room facilities allow our expert staff to manufacture micro molded products at the micron level, for components of nano weight.
